MYTHOLOGY

The Giraffe was introduced only in 1624 by Jakob Bartsch, son-in-law
of Keplero, inspite of is situated in the proximities of very ancient
asterismi and from the long mythological tradition. It has
probably been invented in precedence from Petrus Plancius.
Previously in this zone other constellations have existed that then
they have been forgotten or they have not had fortune,
like the Camel, the harvests' Custodian, the Reindeer, the Dove of
Noč, the Liocorn, the Rhombus, the Fly, the Tiger, the Jordan
and the Rooster.
