The two Dogs from hunting are the dogs that the Bootes uses for the look
of the Ursa Major during its annual motion around the pole.
It seems that Boote holds them to
the leash and that they try to attack to legs the Orsa. Their names
are Asterione and Chara; the Dogs from hunting were make official
from Johannes Hevelius in 1690 in the Prodromus Astronomiae.
