MYTHOLOGY

The constellation of the snake crosses in sky that one of the Ofiuco, in facts it is
that in many mitological images Asclepio (the Ofiuco) holds a snake tightening some
the head with the left hand and the tail with the right hand. The Myth narrates of an
encounter between Asclepio and a snake them (sees constellation of the Ofiuco) that
it would explain the aforesaid rappresentation, even if some exclude that the logon
between the two can be led back to that event: it is said in fact that the snake has
been from always legacy to the world of the pharmacology, being be its poison, in
minimal doses, only remedy to many diseases. It was moreover the sacred animal to the
great Goddesses Mothers, the only divinity adored in Greece before the advent of the
Elleni, than they replaced with the Gods of Mount Olympus. A meaningful transposition
of such historical passage in mythology is represented from the episode of the dead of
Coronide, ancient goddess mother to which was sacred the crow, killed from Apollo.
The brightest star is Unukalhai, from the Arab "the neck of the snake".
